At present Carol Stream restricts lawn watering to every other day.

Residents with odd numbered addresses water on odd numbered days of the month, and those with even numbered addresses water on even numbered days.

We encourage residents to water only ¾” to 1” of water per week to maintain the lawn’s green color and active growth.  However, during the hot summer months you may want to allow your lawn to go dormant, thereby conserving more water.

Please call the Village of Carol Stream Engineering Department  at (630)871-6220 if you have any questions or want more information, or email engineeringservices@carolstream.org
