BUS & PARATRANSIT SERVICES
Alternate
transportation options are available for all Carol Stream
residents, especially those with limited mobility options. PACE
Suburban Bus Agency provides weekday bus service (curb-to-curb)
for all residents as well as ADA service for the disabled.
Bloomingdale and Wayne Townships provide Dial-a-Ride service
(door-to-door) through a contract with the PACE Suburban Bus
agency. Milton Township provides Paratransit service for
seniors and the disabled through the coordinated Ride DuPage
program. Eligibility for the various township-sponsored
Dial-a-Ride services is limited to those who live within the
township boundaries. DuPage County provides additional
Para-transit services for seniors, the disabled, military
veterans as well as low-income residents.
