SPECIAL OPERATIONS UNIT
The Special Operations Unit (SOU) is responsible for tactical
patrols, gang and 
drug enforcement. The unit also oversees community programs
including Crime Prevention, School Resource Officers at Jay Stream
Middle School & Glenbard North High School and instruction for DARE
(Drug Abuse Resistance Education) and GREAT (Gang Resistance
Education Awareness Training) programs.
