  • Mass Transit

According to the American Transportation Association, an individual commuting using public transportation rather than a personal vehicle can reduce their yearly carbon emissions by 4,800 lbs.  While much has been made about the use of alternative fuels and hybrid vehicles, traveling using public transportation is even more effective at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The Village of Carol Stream has many public transportation options for residents looking to travel using fixed rail (train), bus or taxi.
