The Carol Stream Park District
manages 460 acres of open space
in and adjacent to Carol Stream.

When people think of the land that the Carol Stream Park District owns and manages they mainly think of athletic fields. In reality many of the Park District lands are comprised of prairies, wetlands, ponds, uplands, lakes, riparian areas and streams.

These areas provide important open space as well as passive and active recreational opportunities. They also preserve natural habitats for wildlife and fauna, thus improving our way of life.
