7th Annual Teen Music Festival Scheduled for Saturday, August 11th
The Carol Stream Youth Council will be hosting their 7th Annual Teen Music Festival at the Ross Ferraro Town Center on Sat., August 11th beginning at 2pm.  This year’s music festival will feature the following 8 local bands that will play 40-minute sets from the Town Center Gazebo Stage:

  • Austin Jones
  • Buying Trouble
  • Make it to Midnight
  • Nick Gaines
  • Reclaiming the Ruins
  • Sound Tactics
  • The Onset
  • YOLK
This free event is open to residents and the general public. Hot Dog Palace will serve food and refreshments from the Visitor’s Center. All proceeds help pay for this event at the Ferraro Town Center located at the southwest corner of Gary Ave. and Lies Rd.

The Carol Stream Youth Council is comprised of 12 high school students who have been appointed by the Village Board for their leadership qualities, record of community service and their willingness to foster an exchange of ideas with the Village Board and make recommendations on issues that impact their lives.  The fest was an idea that was recommended by the Youth Council in an attempt to provide young musical artists an opportunity to perform live for their friends, family, classmates and peers.  Since 2006, this festival has been attended by countless young emerging musical artists who have found the opportunity to perform live both a profound and affirming experience.
