Police and Fire Department will stage a crash scene for Glenbard North High School Students |
|
On Wednesday morning, May 22, 2013 at 8:30 AM the Carol Stream Police Department and the Carol Stream Fire Protection District will stage a DUI fatal crash scene at Glenbard North High School.
The purpose of the presentation is to raise student awareness of alcohol usage. Traffic Officer Brian Cluever stated “Prom is a very important and memorable part of a student’s high school career; however, those positive memories can turn negative if improper decisions are made when it comes to alcohol consumption. The goal of this presentation is to demonstrate how quickly a fun evening can go bad when an intoxicated motorist gets behind the wheel.”
