Information Technology
The Information Technology department is responsible for the strategic alignment of technology resources with the Village Board's goals and departmental ambitions. IT also oversees the design and operational support related to staff computing, infrastructure, security systems, geographical information systems and data management for all Village departments.
Cybersecurity
While the strategic and operational technology initiatives fall within the IT department's purview, cybersecurity is viewed as a shared responsibility with every individual who uses a connected device. In additional to taking appropriate security measures, the IT department provides education and cyber awareness training for all staff.
