ComEd will perform inspections and trimmings or removals of fast growing and weak-wooded tree limbs between the weeks of July 13 and July 27 to prevent branches from coming into contact with power lines-- a leading cause of outages. Their work will be on W. Lies Road between Rose Ave to the west and Kuhn Rd to the east, and on Morton Rd from W Lies to just south of Paddock Dr. See the map below for the full coverage area.

At locations where ComEd finds tree issues on private property, they will contact the property owner with door cards or personal contact before performing any work.
