Last week, the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus and ComEd recognized the Village of Carol Stream as one of the standout participants in the Electric Vehicle (EV) Readiness Program, marking a significant milestone in the drive towards sustainable transportation in Illinois.
Launched last year, the EV Readiness Program celebrates the commitment of local governments to
prepare for the growing EV landscape. Carol Stream, along with eleven other municipalities, achieved recognition for their dedication to EV infrastructure development, zoning code updates, and community engagement.
