Celebrate Independence Day with your Carol Stream neighbors — from a morning parade to an evening of live music, food, and fireworks!

All events are free and open to all.

10:00 A.M. – Independence Day Parade
Organized by the volunteer Parade Committee, and made possible through generous donations and sponsorships.
📍 Route: Lies Rd. from County Farm Rd. to Ross Ferraro Town Center (Gary Ave.)
📏 Approximately 1.5 miles

🍽️ 6:00 – 8:30 P.M. – Food Vendors Open for the Evening Concert
A variety of sweet and savory options will be available for purchase before and during the concert:

• Lou Malnati's
• Golden Eagle Hot Dogs
• Dirty Dough
• Culver’s of Carol Stream
• Just a Taste Confections
• Sabrosa Michoacana

🎤 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. – Concert at Town Center
Featuring Shout Out – a high-energy band playing hits and classics from the 60s to today’s top 40.

📍 Ross Ferraro Town Center, 960 N. Gary Ave.
 Remember your lawn chairs or blankets!

🎇 9:15 P.M. – Fireworks Show
Fireworks will launch from Hampe Park following the concert and can be enjoyed from Town Center.

🚗 Parking Information

Parking Lots:

• Ross Ferraro Town Center (960 N. Gary Ave.)
• Designated overflow lots along Lies Rd. in the Industrial Corridor (205 E. Lies Rd., east of Gary Ave)

Park & Walk service is available along the Lies Rd. industrial corridor (205 E. Lies Rd.) —for both the parade and the evening concert. Follow posted signs and volunteers directing traffic.

🚫 Street Closures & No Parking Zones

No Parking: 7:00 A.M. – 11:30 P.M. on July 4

• EAST SIDE: Boone/Bowie Dr. & Idaho Tr. (N. of Lies)
• ODD SIDE: Dearborn Cir. and Adler Ln.
• BOTH SIDES: Trevi Dr., Shaftesbury St.,
• Fountain View Dr. (N. of Lies), and Goldenhill St.

Parade Road Closures: 8:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.

• Lies Rd. will close to through traffic from County Farm Rd. to Gary Ave.
• Access will be limited to parade vehicles and local residents east of Kuhn Rd.

Evening Closure for Fireworks: 7:00 – 11:00 P.M.

• Lies Rd. from Idaho Tr. east to Gary Ave. will close again to accommodate event crowds and fireworks traffic

🚗 All other motorists are advised to use North Ave. or Army Trail Rd. as alternate routes.

🚗 Signs indicating local traffic only for residents living east of Kuhn Rd. will be in place before the road's closure.
