The Carol Stream Police Department’s Crime Free Rental License Program now offers complete online payment and registration through the Village’s new Online Rental License Portal.

This portal provides a streamlined, convenient, and secure experience for all rental property owners in Carol Stream. You can now manage your licensing requirements from start to finish—anytime, anywhere.
Through the Online Rental License Portal, you can:

Apply for a new rental license

Renew an existing rental license (available for future renewals; ALL applicants, even current license holders, must select "Request a New License" the first time using this new system)

Important Notice for Current License Holders
Because the Online Rental License Portal is a new system, all property owners and managers must submit their information by selecting “Request A New License” at this time—even if the property was previously licensed. Please do not select “Renew Existing License” until next year, when renewal functionality will be available.
