Carol Stream Christmas Sharing 2025: A Village-Wide Celebration of Giving

The Carol Stream community came together in a powerful display of generosity and holiday spirit during the 48th Annual Carol Stream Christmas Sharing Program. Organized by the Carol Stream Police Department Social Services Unit, this year’s program brought joy and support to 206 families and 421 children, ensuring that everyone felt the warmth of the season.

Thanks to the incredible support of residents, volunteers, community partners, and donors, the program distributed:

• Over 8,000 pounds of food, diapers, and personal care items
• More than 1,600 toys

These donations directly supported families participating in the curb-side Christmas Sharing program, providing a seamless drive-through experience for recipients in partnership with the Carol Stream Park District.

Every donation, volunteer effort, and act of kindness helped neighbors facing hardship feel supported and seen. It’s a powerful reminder that when we come together, hope shines brighter.

Neighborhood Generosity Shines

This year, the community also joined forces for a neighborhood toy and personal hygiene drive coordinated by The Vrankovich Family, resulting in 1,007 toys and 1,850 personal care items donated.

The Village extends special thanks to CCSD93, whose students, staff, and Student Council members collected personal hygiene items and supported the program in meaningful ways. Their continued generosity helps make Christmas Sharing possible.

Additional gratitude goes to:

• Carol Stream Fire Protection District and Public Works Department, for helping pick up and sort toys
• Toys for Tots, for supporting the program and helping bring smiles to children across the community
