The Village of Carol Stream has learned that Viking Promotions, a company contracted by the Metropolitan Alliance of Police (M.A.P.) Union, is conducting a local fundraising drive in our area. While Carol Stream Police Sergeants are members of the M.A.P. labor union, this fundraising activity is not affiliated with the Village of Carol Stream or the Carol Stream Police Department.

Donations requested by this fundraising effort support union activities and do not go to the Carol Stream Police Department. To be clear, the Police Department does not call residents to solicit funds.
