SEASONAL POSITIONS
Civil Engineering Intern (Full-Time)
This temporary position is intended for a current student pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. Primarily the intern will be assisting our Engineering Inspectors in the field with Village construction projects which may include monitoring construction methods, measuring quantities, and performing basic surveying. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Illinois driver’s license.
Property Maintenance Inspector (Part-Time)
This seasonal role conducts property maintenance inspections (approximately 20 hours per week, May–September), identifies code compliance issues, prepares and issues courtesy notices, and works with property owners to explain requirements and obtain compliance.
Public Works Seasonal Employee (Full-Time,)
These positions perform seasonal maintenance work from May through mid-September, including grass mowing, minor utility repairs, and general outdoor tasks in support of Public Works operations. Positions are scheduled Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Applicants must be at least age 18 with a valid Illinois Driver’s License.
FULL-TIME POSITIONS
Civil Engineer (Full-Time)
Performs professional civil engineering work in support of Village infrastructure projects, including engineering design, capital improvement planning, development review, project management, and construction oversight.
Engineering Technician (Full-Time)
Performs a variety of engineering related duties including site inspections, field surveys, research, and permit reviews and filings for various public improvement projects, in addition to providing support to our professional engineering staff.
Water Plant Operator (Full-Time)
Operates and maintains the Village’s potable water system, including treatment, pumping, storage, and distribution facilities, to ensure safe, reliable drinking water and regulatory compliance.
