Plow trucks are moving into final clean-up mode. Operations should conclude by midnight.

Updates regarding the water main break and snowing operations:
- The water main break on Morton Road has been repaired and the detour removed.
- Plowing operations have resumed and we expect snow to continue until about 9:00. Please do not park vehicles on the street until plowing operations are complete.
Post Date: 2/17/19- 11:30 a.m.:
A water main break has been confirmed on Morton Road just south of Pawnee. Morton Road will be closed while crews repair the break. During the closure, a detour will take:
Southbound Morton Rd. Traffic
- Morton to Pawnee to County Farm
Northbound Morton Rd. Traffic
- Morton to Mardon to County Farm
Please follow all road signage.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a possible 3-5" of snow for our area. In response, the Carol Stream Public Works Department:
- Deployed salt trucks at 7 a.m.
- Deployed plow trucks at 8 a.m.
- Deployed contractor court-plowing operations at 10 a.m.
