All solicitors must have a Village permit to show that the solicitor has passed a criminal background check. A Village permit does not mean that the Village is endorsing a particular company, product, or service. If a solicitor knocks on your door and they do not have a Village permit, please call 911 to report them. 

Occasionally a contractor, company, or energy supplier may claim they are the Village’s official partner. If the Village partners with a company the information will be on our website and/or sent to you by mail. At this time we are not partnered with any energy supplier, company, or contractor who is participating in solicitation.

 

Residents who do not want solicitors at their resident may obtain a "No Solicitors Invited" sticker available at the Village Hall. Per Village Code, the sticker serves as notice to solicitors that they are not invited to solicit at that residence. If a solicitor ignores a "No Solicitors" sticker at your entrance or your requests for them to leave, please call 911 to report them.
