Test Your Sump Pump
Ensure your sump pump is functioning properly and that the discharge line is clear and draining away from your home. Consider a battery backup in case of a power outage.

Prepare for Potential Power Outages
Charge electronic devices and keep flashlights, bottled water, and nonperishable food on hand.

Inspect Backup Generators
Make sure backup generators are fueled and operating properly before severe weather occurs.

Avoid Flooded Roads
Never drive through flooded roadways. Turn around, don’t drown.
