Building Community One Cast at a Time

This summer, the Carol Stream Police Department is looking forward to bringing local youth together for a special fishing event focused on outdoor recreation, positive mentorship, and meaningful community connections.

Through our Community Connections Summer Program, young people will have the opportunity to learn a new skill, spend time outdoors, and engage with officers in a fun and relaxed environment. Events like these help strengthen relationships, build trust, and create positive memories that can last a lifetime.

Many members of our community have already expressed interest in supporting this effort, and we are grateful for the continued partnership that makes programs like this possible. New or gently used fishing poles and equipment can help ensure more children have the opportunity to participate and experience the joy of fishing.

Donations may be dropped off at the Carol Stream Police Department, 500 N. Gary Avenue, through Wednesday, July 1, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
