Concert and fireworks event postponed.
After much deliberation, the Village has decided to cancel tomorrow’s concert and firework presentation and reschedule as soon as possible so we can properly celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
While this decision was not easy, the saturated park conditions, volatility of the weather and the severity of the storms have made safety our primary concern. We want to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all involved, and for that reason, we believe canceling the event is the most appropriate option for our residents, vendors, and staff.
THE PARADE IS CONTINUING AS PLANNED.

The Mackenzie O'Brien Band brings an evening of country hits, country rock favorites, and more to the Town Center stage.

Cap off the celebration with the Village's spectacular fireworks display immediately following the concert.

🚗 Overflow parking is available all day at 205 E. Lies Rd. (Lies Rd. Industrial Complex), with volunteers available to help direct traffic.
Parking & Road Closure Reminder
🚫 No Parking will be enforced on designated streets Friday, July 4, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
🧭 Independence Day Parade: ️ Saturday, July 4 | 10:00 a.m.
The parade will travel eastbound on Lies Road from County Farm Road.
🚧 Traffic Restrictions
• Lies Road will be closed to through traffic 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. during the parade.
• Lies Road from Idaho Trail east to Gary Avenue will also be closed to through traffic 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. for the evening celebration.
• Residents living east of Kuhn Road should follow posted Local Traffic Only signs.
• Motorists are encouraged to use North Avenue or Army Trail Road as alternate routes.
🚶 Park & Walk Service will be available from posted parking lots in the Lies Road Industrial Corridor between 6 a.m. and 11:30 p.m., providing convenient access to the festivities.
