The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is offering federal disaster loan assistance to homeowners, renters, businesses, and certain nonprofit organizations impacted by the severe weather and excessive rainfall that affected the area July 2–4.
DuPage County is included in the federal disaster declaration, making low-interest SBA disaster loans available to eligible applicants for losses not fully covered by insurance.
Loan Application deadlines:
• Physical property damage: October 5, 2026
• Economic injury: May 5, 2027
