Clarke Mosquito Control has confirmed West Nile Virus in a mosquito sample collected near St. Charles Road and Westgate Drive. No human cases have been reported in Carol Stream this year.

As part of the Village’s ongoing mosquito management program, Clarke continues to monitor mosquito activity and conduct scheduled community-wide mosquito control applications between dusk and dawn. Additional control measures may be taken as needed.

Residents can help by eliminating standing water and protecting against mosquito bites with EPA-approved insect repellent and other precautions.
