The DuPage County Health Department recently shared transportation assistance resources available through the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) that may benefit DuPage County residents.
RTA offers free or reduced fares for Metra, Pace, and CTA rides to adults age 65 and older and individuals with disabilities.
RTA also offers the Access Pilot Program, which provides reduced Metra fares for individuals who receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.
Additional RTA resources include a digital library with transportation assistance information, an online application portal, and information about using Uber through the Pace Rideshare Access Program (RAP).
