Monthly water bills are due 20 days after the bill date, generally on the 20th of each month. If the 20th falls on a weekend or Village holiday, bills are due on the next Village business day. A 10% penalty is applied if payment is not received by the due date.
The Village offers customers the ability to pay their water bill on-line through the "Green Pay" system. Once enrolled in Green-Pay, you will be able to:
- Elect to receive an email bill only, paper bill only or both each month.
- View, print or save your monthly bills (the most recent 12 months of bills are saved on the system).
- Pay your monthly email bill using a credit card each month.
- Enroll in our "Auto Pay" option which pays your bill automatically each month via electronic (ACH) debit from your designated checking account on the day before the bill due date. You will still receive a monthly bill, but you will know that Auto Pay is in effect when you see the words "STREAM LINE PAID" in the "TOTAL AMOUNT PAID" section of your bill.
Payments can be made in person at the Municipal Center 24 hours a day at the Finance Department counter during regular business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or after hours and on weekends in the Police Department Records Division. The Village accepts cash, check or credit card payments (VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover) at the Municipal Center.
Use the return envelope enclosed with your monthly bill to direct your payment to our bank processing facility for automated processing. The Village uploads and posts payments received from our bank processor on a daily basis.
Village Payment Box
Check payments may also be deposited in the Village Payment Box in the west parking lot of the Municipal Center (DO NOT deposit cash in the Village Payment Box). During the Municipal Center renovation, the Village Payment Box has been relocated at the Town Center, north of Fountain View Drive and adjacent to the Fountain View Recreation Center.
The Village Does NOT Accept Payments Over the Telephone
As a matter of policy, and for the security of cardholders, the Village cannot accept or process credit card payments over the phone. If you would like to pay with a credit card, you may only pay in-person or through our "Green Pay" system where credit card information is processed in a secure environment.
