No.  For your security, Green-Pay does not store any of your private credit card information.  If you wish to pay on-line each month using a credit or debit card, you must enter your card information each time you make a payment using Green-Pay.  If you would like your bill to be paid each month automatically, you may wish to consider our AUTO PAY option which automatically deducts your monthly bill from your designated checking or savings account on the day before the bill due date each month.  Learn more about AUTO PAY.

No.  Many customers use Green-Pay only to receive and view or print their bill each month and choose to pay in person at the Municipal Center, or by receiving and mailing a copy of the paper bill with their check, or by dropping their bill stub and check in the municipal payment box.  The method of payment is up to you!  

If you are moving, call the water billing division at 630-871-6222 to schedule a final reading of your water meter.  We will remove you from any on-line programs including Green-Pay and AUTO PAY prior to the issuance of your final bill.  Final bills must be paid via mail or in-person at the Municipal Center.

Yes.  When you sign up for Green-Pay, the default user preferences will result in you continuing to receive a paper bill each month as well as an "E-Bill" which is a monthly email to your designated email address that includes a link to the Green-Pay site for you to log in to view and then pay your bill.  Each month, you will need to log into your Green-Pay account and pay your bill using a credit or debit card.  If you would like your bill to be paid automatically each month without your action, you may wish to consider our AUTO PAY option which automatically deducts your monthly bill from your designated checking or savings account on the day before the bill due date each month.  Learn more about AUTO PAY.
