The Carol Stream Police Department Social Service Division is staffed by four full-time Licensed Clinical Social Workers and one full-time secretary. The social workers provide 24/7 on-call response to the Patrol Division. Our team serves residents and crime victims by providing comprehensive services that include:

• Crisis interventions
• Counseling
• Court advocacy
• Victims' assistance
• Case management
• Restorative justice
• Neighbor mediation
• Disaster response coordination
• Juvenile Fire Setter evaluations
• Juvenile Station Adjustment counseling
• Benefits linkage and resource referrals

In addition, the Social Service Unit oversees the annual Carol Stream Christmas Sharing Program.
