A copy of a crash report may be obtained for $5 payable to the Village of Carol Stream. Please stop by the Police Department if you would like to pick up a copy of a crash report, or send in your request and payment to The Village of Carol Stream Police Department, 500 N. Gary Avenue, Carol Stream, IL 60188. The Carol Stream crash reports are also available for purchase online. You may call the Records Division at (630) 668-2167 if you have questions.
If you need to get a copy of an incident report, it must be requested through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. A FOIA clerk will review your request and respond within 5 business days in accordance with FOIA guidelines.
