The Village of Carol Stream partners with eWorks, SCARCE, Accurate Document Destruction, Flood Brothers Disposal, and DuPage County to host a Pumpkin, Textiles, Electronics Recycling and Shredding Event. Taking place on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Ross Ferraro Town Center (960 N. Gary Ave.) from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., this event is open to residents of DuPage County.

By recycling pumpkins, you can help to reduce the methane released from landfills and return important nutrients to the soil. Please remove any decorative additions like wax, yarn, and googly eyes to make the pumpkins safe for composting.
