The Village of Carol Stream is proud to host its annual Water Reclamation Center (WRC) Open House. This free, family-friendly event gives residents a behind-the-scenes look at the facility that treats and protects our community.
What to Expect:
- Guided tours of the Water Reclamation Center facility & hayrides
- Educational exhibits explaining the wastewater treatment process
- Opportunities to meet and ask questions of WRC staff
- Information on water conservation and environmental protection
- Water barrel raffle
- Free pumpkins and taffy apples for attendees
- Exciting duck races for all ages to enjoy
- Bingo card with raffle once completing
- Ice cream cups
- Touch-A-Truck with Public Works vehicles
- Boy Scout of America pergola ceremony
